Fed: Cash, alcohol taken in Cook ram raid

Police say thieves took cash and alcohol during a ram-raid burglary at a suburban Canberra
supermarket overnight.

The raid occurred at the IGA supermarket in Templeton St, Cook.

Police were called about 4.30am and arrived to find the front security roller door
and glass sliding doors extensively smashed.

A police spokesman says the car used to ram through the front of the supermarket may
have been a dark-coloured sedan or station wagon.

It is likely to have sustained extensive front or rear-end damage during the collision.

Police urged those with information to call 1800 333 000.
